Check out my projects

During my life I’ve had many projects that I’ve accomplished they include winning the stem festival, reducing carbon emissions in my school and finally my small start up called petcollar.

UK trip John Lockey essay competition

Example I was blessed with the opportunity to write an essay to UK prestigious essay competition named after John Lockey which was about If you had $10 billion to spend on making the world better, how would you spend it?. When my teacher recommended writing this essay I was so happy for the opportunity that I have received, even though I never wrote a 2000-word essay before I was ready to win this competition it took me a full week to write it and when I finally submitted it I was so relieved to have finally finished it. About 2 weeks after I received an email saying that I had become a finalist in the competition I was so excited I called my mom and told my dad and they were so happy for me we then began planning for the trip. Tene finally the day came when I was about to fly to the UK, Oxford, where I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life. The first thing I did was sit in the excellent British Taxi. The Taxi’s interior was shocking, It had a sunroof, comfy leather seats and It was a plugin hybrid! One more thing I have noticed in the UK is that a lot of people care about our world going as far as protesting it on the streets. When we finally arrived at Oxford University I started talking with a lot of Oxford professors. I got a lot of book recommendations from most of them which I appreciate. I hope to one day meet them when I will be successful. I’ve attended a total of 5 lectures and seminars that were told by actual Oxford professors. The lecture that I took the most interest in was the lecture about Sweat Shop. At first, I thought Sweat Shop had a different meaning looking at the name but then I realized it was a completely different thing. The lecture was told by a professor who was also an Economist who taught me how economists actually think. The economic way of thinking examines how people make choices under conditions of scarcity and systems of production, consumption, and distribution. He also told me that the best way to stop Sweat Shops is to open more Sweat Shops. After all these lectures I went to the mall with my parents and ate in a lot of international restaurantsText
