Date of my birth

My name is Jabrayil Huseynov, friends call me Jaba and I'm a student from Azerbaijan, Baku. I study at Azerbaijan British College. I was born on August 28 2009 and I'm currently in year 10. My school provides a high quality of education for all students but it still isn’t enough for students like me to achieve our goals. I seek higher education in computer science and chemical engineering participating in a lot of extracurricular activities to keep me busy, these activities include John Locke essay competition where I was a finalist and had the opportunity to go to their college which was plenty of fun meeting all of the students and their professors, I also took part in decreasing carbon emissions in our school project where I was one of the finalist and was published in my schools instagram page, I take part in jiu jitsu too, were I won 2nd place in a international competition were I experienced the most anxiety i’ve ever had, and I also participated in a global chess tournament playing with a lot of grandmasters which was plenty of fun. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to meet and compete with grandmasters worldwide, which also boosted my confidence to work harder and expand my chess experience.

My chess experience

Here is my chess experience. I started playing chess when I was only 4 years old. At first I thought of chess as a boring extracurricular activity that just wasted my time but later I became obsessed with it. I played day and night and learned about all the different combinations and their openings. When I grew older I learned that chess openings are usually called by the name of the grandmaster that played them and I hoped that when I grew up I would have a chess opening myself. Unfortunately during the pandemic I completely stopped playing chess due to the risks it could have caused me. After the pandemic I made a professional debut and partook in many tournaments and won many awards getting to meet many grandmasters including kasparov, magnus, and many more. I’ve even played against some government officials in a friendly match. Chess is a game of Chess is an abstract strategy game that involves no hidden information and no elements of chance. It is played on a chessboard with 64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid. At the start, each player controls sixteen pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns.

I loved jiu jitsu

I started doing Jiu jitsu in 2023 and became completely obsessed with it. Jiu jitsu is not only fighting and winning, it's also how you will do these combinations by actually memorising more than 300 moves. BJJ revolves around the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent by using leverage and weight distribution, taking the fight to the ground and using a number of holds and submissions to defeat them and me being a small kid I became amazed on how smaller opponents obliterate bigger opponents. I participated in 3 tournaments already and got 2nd place two times and 3rd place once.
